Some of the questions I'll be raising:
What are the challenges music journalists face today? How do artists get media attention—and when they get it, is it worth it? Do audiences or presenters pay attention to the views of media critics? What criteria do journalists use for their critiques?
The program is part of First Tuesdays, free monthly professional development seminars for ensembles and presenters. First Tuesdays is a joint project of Chamber Music America, Midtown Arts Common and Saint Peter’s Church.
